SwiperWiper ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use the SwiperWiper mobile application (the "App").

1. Our Privacy Philosophy

SwiperWiper is designed to work with your photos and videos on your device. Your media stays on your device unless you choose to share it elsewhere. We do not upload, store, or sell your photos or videos on our servers.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect or transmit:

• The contents of your photos or videos
• Your photo library metadata beyond what is needed on-device to sort
• Location data embedded in your media
• Contacts or other personal data unrelated to the App's function

3. Information Processed On Your Device

To provide sorting, review, and deletion features, the App accesses your device's photo library locally. This processing happens on your device and is not sent to us. Deletion occurs only when you explicitly confirm it in the review screen.

4. Information We May Collect

Depending on how you use the App, we may collect:

Gameplay and App Data

Progress data such as acorn balance, quest completion, achievements, Swiper vitals, inventory, and settings may be stored locally on your device. If cloud sync or backup is offered in the future, we will update this policy and request your consent where required.

Analytics (Optional)

We may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand app usage — such as feature usage, crash reports, and performance metrics. This data is aggregated and does not include your photos or videos. You may be able to opt out through your device or app settings where available.

Support Communications

If you contact us at lance@erniespizza.ph, we collect the information you provide (such as your email address and message content) to respond to your inquiry.

Purchase Information

In-app purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple. We receive confirmation of purchase status but do not receive your full payment card details. Apple's privacy policy governs payment data they collect.

5. How We Use Information

We use collected information to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the App
• Save your gameplay progress and preferences
• Diagnose crashes and fix bugs
• Respond to support requests
• Comply with legal obligations

6. Push Notifications

If you opt in, SwiperWiper uses your device's local notification system to personalize your companion experience. Notifications are scheduled on your device and are not used to collect your photos, videos, or personal media.

With your permission, we may send:

• Care alerts when Swiper needs attention—for example when he is hungry, thirsty, sad, or low on energy
• Daily check-ins with a friendly reminder that Swiper misses you or would love a visit to the den

You can turn notifications on or off anytime in the App (Gallery menu → App info → Swiper care reminders) or in your device settings. For more details, see our Terms & Conditions (Push Notifications section).

7. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited data with:

• Service providers who help us operate the App (e.g., crash reporting or analytics), bound by confidentiality obligations
• Legal authoritieswhen required by law or to protect our rights and users' safety
• Business transfers in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with notice where required

8. Data Retention

On-device data persists until you uninstall the App or reset your progress. Support emails are retained as long as needed to resolve your inquiry and for reasonable record-keeping. Analytics data is retained in aggregated form.

9. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you
• Opt out of certain analytics or marketing communications
• Withdraw consent where processing is consent-based
• Lodge a complaint with a data protection authority

11. Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information we process. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised policy with an updated "Last updated" date. Material changes may also be communicated through the App where appropriate.
